Adding a Domain Name to Your Existing Site
If you already have a website up and running, then you need to either assign the "nameserver" to your hosting company or "forward" this domain name to your current site URL. If your hosting service supports custom domain names, then you need to find out the following information from them (and also find out if there is anything else they need from you) to assign the nameserver:
Primary Nameserver: ____________
Primary IPaddress:______________
Secondary Nameserver: ____________
Secondary IPaddress:______________
Then go to your domain manager to edit your domain settings. The instructions about how to edit your domain settings should be in the confirmation email you get from your registrar. There is no fee to do this, but there may be a fee by your hosting company to add this domain name.
